For my Theme study,I have chosen the themes Deception and seeing things as they might not be.

I have read the books The redemption of Althas, and the whole series of Percy Jackson. In The redemption of Althas, the hero/main character is a thief, who fall’s in love with a black cat called Emerald, who is actually the Goddess of fertility and can transform in to a beautiful woman. Whilst in the Percy Jackson series there is the concept of God’s form Ancient Greek mythology looking like normal people, in the story there is also a mystical ‘mist’ which stops us normal ‘mortals’ from seeing these Ancient Greek monsters.
